Perhaps the only common denomenator between all cohousing
communities is meetings, and meetings, and meetings.
Some love them and some ... well, don't. From the first
meeting of mostly strangers who have responded to flyers
posted in health food coops, chiropractor's offices,
and coffee shops, to the bi-weekly meetings to plan
the community, almost all the decisions are made in
meetings —everyone is involved in decisions.
